The vast array of freely available online impulses, numbering in the hundreds of thousands, can be seamlessly integrated into the app as long as they are in the correct .wav or .aif format. For instance, if you desire to run an electric piano through a classic Fender™ AMP, you can simply access various "Fender AMP Impulses" online from numerous options. This allows for extensive exploration of diverse spaces, amps, reverbs, and delays to incorporate into your preferred AUv3 DAW.

The technology behind convolution and deconvolution involves transmitting a signal through an amp, reverb unit, delay unit, or space and employing advanced mathematical interpolation techniques to closely replicate the original source. IMPULSation is expertly tailored for AMPs, reverbs, delays, and spaces, with code optimizations ensuring seamless detection and signal optimization for improved CPU usage and superior sound quality.
